JoAnna Lopez

HOMETOWN: Born in Bakersfield, CA but just moved here from Seattle, WA
BEFORE MUSIC CITY FITNESS: I was in the IV pharmacy world for 11 years before changing careers and receiving my PT certification from NASM, so the body has always fascinated me! Now I study people's movements and help them to live more active lives.
IN THE STUDIO: You'll gain knowledge of how to change your body in a way that's tough but a lot of fun! Being in a group setting also helps to push you past your limits and make new friends!
WHEN I'M NOT TRAINING: I'm hiking, going to metal concerts, painting or exploring everything local that Nashville has to offer!
GUILTY PLEASURE: Donuts, I am a human being!
CLASS SUMMARY: This boot camp is a workout that combines weights and cardio exercises into a fast-paced circuit training program. This approach is way more fun than hitting the gym alone and it can help you to see results quicker. The class will include but will not be limited to:

  • Classic exercises – push-ups, sit-ups, squats, lunges
  • Weights – kettle bells, free weights, medicine balls
  • Cardio exercises – skipping, running, jumping

What challenges you, changes you.
